Application

The GSM PowerGuard module is a reliable solution for remote alerting in the event of critical events in your aquaculture system. It is battery-operated and therefore independent of the power supply. In the event of a complete power failure or if defined limit values for water parameters are exceeded, the module automatically alerts the operator by phone call or text message. This means you receive immediate information in an emergency and can react immediately - even if you are not on site.

Flexible connection options for different areas of application

The GSM PowerGuard module is available in two connection variants - to match the respective SENECT control unit:

Actuator output option: Connected to the actuator output of the control unit via two pre-assembled actuator cables. Ideal for alarming in the event of limit value violations (e.g. oxygen, temperature, pH value).
Alarm output option: Equipped with two ready-made alarm cables to be connected to the alarm output of the control unit. Perfect for recognising and reporting a complete power failure of the system.

Self-sufficient alarm system for maximum operational safety

Thanks to the integrated battery, the GSM PowerGuard module remains fully functional even in the event of a power failure. It continuously monitors the status of your system and ensures additional security through direct phone calls or SMS messages in the event of an alarm. The simple integration into existing SENECT systems allows for a quick retrofit – for more control, protection, and peace of mind in the daily operation of your aquaculture system.

Important note on operation:

Please note: An active SIM card with a mobile phone contract is required to operate the GSM module. This SIM card is not included in the scope of delivery.
