Maximizing oxygenation efficiency - ultra fine micro-bubbles produced with the ECD Ceramic Diffusors

The diffusor ECD200 and the larger ECD400 are specially designed to maximise the oxygen transfer efficiency in aquaculture. This maximization in turn reduces the operation costs for aeration, oxygenation or ozone dosing.

With its antimicrobial ceramic, biofouling is minimized so that a typical periodical check of 3 to 6 months is adequate. The ring-shaped form facilitates the lift of bottom-water, which is often depleted with oxygen, and increases the ECDs effectiveness further.

Together with the SENECT control units, the oxygen sensor O2S and the solenoid valve M7, the ECD200 is the optimal choice to build up an extremely efficient oxygenation system for your aquaculture farm.

Why precise oxygen supply is crucial in professional aquaculture

In commercial aquaculture, a precisely controllable oxygen supply is crucial for stable production processes, optimum growth and animal health. Ceramic diffusers such as the ECD ceramic oxygen diffuser enable particularly fine and even bubble formation - ideal for efficient oxygen supply. This is due to the fine pores in the material and the large surface area. In combination with the SENECT controls, the aeration can be precisely adjusted to the measured oxygen content in real time: Aeration is automatically started/stopped if the oxygen saturation falls below or exceeds a level you specify. This not only reliably prevents oxygen deficiency, but also counteracts potentially harmful oversaturation - for maximum control and efficiency in daily operation.
