SENECT systems enable a precise monitoring and control concept for the most important processes in aquaculture facilities. Our sensor technology covers the following water parameters:

• Oxygen
• CO2
• Water level (pressure)
• Alkalinity (pH)
• Redox potential (ORP)
• Precise temperature
• Conductivity/salinity

The measured values are displayed on the controller screen, but can also be monitored anytime and from anywhere via our SENECT app on smartphone or desktop PC. For data analysis, measured values can also be downloaded over longer periods in CSV format.

Accurate and up-to-date knowledge of the water parameters in the system makes it possible to identify the limiting factor. If this can be specifically mitigated, it enables higher stocking densities, better feed conversion, faster growth rates, and lower mortality.

The optional Powerguard is a special type of sensor: it alerts the operator by phone if the power fails, so that a critical failure of the system can be prevented even when the automatic control of the water parameters is unable to operate.

Thanks to the Internet of Things functionality of our technology, many processes in recirculating aquaculture systems can not only be largely automated, but can also respond intelligently and individually to changing conditions.

The measurement-based control of feeding, water refilling, drum filter flushing, aeration, and cooling reduces repetitive tasks for operators, detects problems immediately when they occur, and can mitigate some of them instantly without manual intervention.

An automated system equipped with alarm functions allows those responsible to relax more after work: no more uncertainty. Even from a distance, you always know the status of the system, or exactly when a problem needs to be solved manually on site.
