Solenoid Valves for Safe Automation
Automatic water and oxygen supply based on sensor readings – precise, efficient and reliable.
Parameter-Based / Sensor-Controlled Operating Mode
One control principle for both: automatic water refilling and automatic oxygen aeration.
Learn more
Solenoid valves are designed for parameter-dependent, automated replenishment of oxygen and water. For example, if the level sensor detects that the water level has dropped below a defined threshold – due to evaporation or water consumption during drum filter backwashing – the controller activates the solenoid valve via the actuator output, causing it to open. Fresh water can thus be refilled automatically. The same principle can also be configured for oxygen threshold values.
Safety Advantage in Emergencies
Normally-open valves can protect fish stocks in critical situations.

For parameter-dependent aeration, a normally-open valve configuration can be highly advantageous. If the facility loses power – and with it the fresh water supply and circulation – the oxygen supply remains active, helping to bridge an emergency situation and potentially saving the fish stock.
